SB1499 was vetoed by Governor Schwarzenegger on September 29, 2008. So as a result, the California Balloon Law remains the same as it has since enacted in 1990.

We do hope this was a wake-up call for the industry. We all need to be aware of the importance of following the law and doing all we can to prevent power outages. Click to see the current California Balloon Law.
